ok so.... my mom was doing the fish tank and she accidentally put the beta in cold water while cleaning out the tank. so the beta "Zen" died, after 3 happy years. so now we are going to get a google-eyed fish...
also, Nadia peed all over my moms fancy work shoes and my dads briefcase, and the just-done-laundry. and she's been peeing for months now. we had to redo all the carpeting in our house and turn it to wood, because of her peeing. so, after 6 years of having her my dad wants us to put her to sleep. i love her so much, that i said if we couldn't have her, to give her to another family (preferably that we know) that doesn't have a dog (she only started peeing when she realized the dog was here to stay) so if you want a tortoise-shell kittycat....

my sisters gerbil died yesterday. =(
i got an A on my history test, (yay!) but the P/T conferences are coming up and i'm scared about what the spanish teacher is going to say to my parents.... =(
also we are going up to chicago today to celebrate my grandma's 85 b-day. =)

sigh...

i am SO tired... 7 tests in 3 days... and another one tomorrow... urg...

Dog Bites

You know how in cheesy cartoons the dog always bites the character's butt? well, my sister was ata party and their were tons of girls goofing around in their pj's and zoe reaches out to stroke the dog, and it turns around and bites her side. so, cuz its on her butt, she doesn't want the person there to wash it. So, now its infected. But she can't go to the doctor's cuz then the will have to tell him that A dog bit her and then the dog would be put to sleep. But it's her Best Friend's dog so she doesn't want to be responsible for killing it. complicated ... have any ideas?

The Chief WARNING: Rant ahead

we got massacred yesterday, as you probably know. Pathetic. anyway be warned, if you like the chief and own one of those "The chief lives on... in our hearts" pins, or badges beware. the chief died! it was so racist, it's like as my dad put it "the Germans having their mascot as a dancing rabbi, pretending to sing troupe" it would be rude and racist. and thats exactly what we did with chief illiniwok we made fun of him. It is NOT a great tradition making fun of other religions and beliefs... i can't believe it lasted so long. I hate those "It's a great tradition." and "The chief lies in our hearts" people. it's like WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!? ok, rant over...
have you noticed how much i've posted today? it's quiet amazing. I'm making a record!Guinness Book here I come! Bwa ha ha! *cough*

Rosebowl: U of I vs. USC

it was obvious from the beginning that we would lose. but at least we got there. I like the Illini more, now that they got rid of the Chief. That was so derogatory... i can't believe he lasted that long.
but anyway, we all knew USC would win, it was more of a "how much will they win by?" and it turns out it was ALOT 49-17. My uncle was so pleased (he went to USC) but we caught up, a bit. for a while it was 14-0 and then 20-3. So I'm pleased we even managed to score. So we got pummeled, but not as much as we expected. c'mon like we could win? pur-leez...

Movie: National Treasure: Book of Secrets

Yesterday we watched National Treasure: Book of Secrets it was ok... i mean , i wasn't expecting an amazing movie but still it was kind of pathetic, and cheesy... It kind of bugs me how in movie's they ae always like "Mr. President" but they never say the president's real name... it's like erm... if your gonna do that just pretend its President Smithers or make up a name, and then how the main guy (the treasure hunter) Benjamin Franklin Gates ( played by Nicholas Cage) he always does these amazing heroic things and in the end th girl loves him. its like... erm... please? more realistic? i mean in the end everyone is happy, its like... erm, sure. like thats ever gonna happen. But there were some funny parts, of course then they stretched the joke to far and it became like complete cheese-o-rama but oh-well.... anyway its rated pg-13 and the official website is here.
