1st day of school

no H.W yay!!
like da only time in da year i wont have tons. the teachers r being nice 2day =)

and their is a feral kitten under our deck. we are feeding it. =)

Bday!

2day is my Bday at 9:30AM i was born =)

boulder

we got out of our condo is aspen and are now staying with my aunt and uncle in boulder.
my bday is on august 24th (2 days) yay =)

we got lost on a short 3 mile hike and took a wron turn for 6 miles. WE took a bus up the mountain and it stopped at 5. We started running up the wrong path to make the bus. by the time we walked back we all had blisters and my shoes which arent made for hiking are ruined. holes in the sides, muddy and soles coming off. We got back to the bus stop at 7:30 and hitchhiked back with a nice family. They also live in the same town where we live (in IL) they had people from germany their. German is a cool language...... im going 2 bed.

borrr-ing

Yesterday we actually did do something unlike what we thout cuz we woke up at 10 and read and then had Breakfast at 12 and then my dad had to leave to the Physics institute. we went to a town near aspen and we plammed to go to he museam and caves. But we saw rock shop and zoe wanted to go in and look at the fossils, and then we had a late lunch and when it was all over the museam was closed and when we looked at the brocure for the caves they had rodes and it looked pretty fake for alot of money so we decided to go home. Then we took a short hike then walked over to my Dad's work and went with him to a bbq restaurant which said they were great but wasn't that great really.

today we went one 3 hikes. but they were easy hikes and very beautiful. for one we hiked up 2 a lake on the top of a montain and on the way up we met another family from IL. They were playing Blues on a harmonica when we first saw them. When we got to the top it started hailing! It was freezing so we went back down. that one was only 2 miles or so. The second one was REALLY easy. like 1/3 of a mile but it took us a long time. u know why?? we did it blind. It was a trail for the blind with braille placks next to the typed english ones and a rail along the side for easy walking. It was cool. The third was not really hike.... It was a waterfall and ice caves! We climbed into the ice cave, (they dont have ice now, but they were very wet. They were carvwed out by ice) and took some awesome pictures!

Ghost town 2day!

On Tuesday we are going to do a tour of smuggler mountain. They found the biggest silver nugget ever there, guess how much it weighed? 1840 pounds!! Today we are going to an old mining ghost town, it sounds like alot of fun !

White Water Rafting

2day we went white water rafting. it was AWESOME!! its in 1 of those plastic blowupboats and u paddle it over rapids. we went over a 4ft waterfall!! (it wasnt actually that scary, but we got soaked) we had 1 boat 2 ourselves and my and my dad sat in the front so we got the most soaked. =)
Ours was rated a 2/3. on a scale up to 6. the 6 is the one where NOONE has survived going over it. SCARY!!!

Search for perfect non-mac MP3

In my search for the prefect non iPod mp3 i found
ISonic Snapbox X85
it looks good, costs less (75-90$) and does pictures, music, radio , video like I want but has absolutly NO reviews. if anyone has this please tell me, or if anyone has a link to a rating PLEASE tell me.
The Creative Zen V Plus looks like a good candidate, but I have heard that the buttons are hard to press and it fails to work after about a month.
I want something that will last with No moving parts (moving disk etc.)
and like 4+ GB in or around 100$...
The Sansa SanDisk is supposed to be really good but I have heard it doesnt last too long and the screen resolution isn't great....

The SanDisk looks better so I'm leaning towards it, but the real bummer ( :( ) is that its screen isnt very clear....
