oh! i just read this book by neal shusterman its really sad and made me cry. it was like unwants or somethin. it had a black cover with a thumb print and shadows. it was about people in the future and stuff. u should read it its good.

and i also read tantalize its about vampires and stuff. it hads a picture of a girl with blonde hair on the front.

funny intro

In the book To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee the main themes are prejudgment, dignity and doing the right thing. This also tells you a bit about human nature, it is not a particularly exaggerated book but it is not a happy bunny prancing through fields either. It is what one wold call the truth.

im not going to keep the intro. to my essay but i think its funny! heres the rest (its not done):

Many people in the book do things for the sake of their dignity for example Mayella Ewell says that Tom Robinson raped her to hide her shame, and “that a gang of wild animals can be stopped, simply because they're still human. ”

“Mr. Cunningham was part of the mob last night, but he was still sa man. Every mob... is always made up of people”

Discrimination Scout Tom Robinson

Some examples of when people do what is right are when Atticus takes the Tom Robinson court case, even though lots of people didn’t want him to. This goes so far that some of the town’s people gang up on Atticus, and Mr. Ewell spits at Atticus’s face, all because he is defending an African American.

And

There is a lot of prejudgment in the book some of the main being the assumption that Mayella Ewell is right just because she is white even though all the evidence supports Tom Robinson and Atticus.

People also think that Mr. Dolphus Raymond drinks whiskey in his brown-paper bag instead of coke just because he is married to someone who is African American. “when I come to town, which is seldom, if I weave a little and drink out of this sack, folks can say Dolphus Raymond’s in the clutches of whiskey- that’s why he wont change his ways” (200) Mr. Raymond says when asked why he pretended to drink.

Arthur Radley, also known as Boo, lives alone in the Radley House because he “drove the scissors into his parent’s leg, pulled them out, wiped them on his pants, and resumed his activities [scrap booking].” (11) Or so says Miss Stephanie. However, you later learn that Boo Radley is just very shy, and likes to stay in his house. He saves Scout and Jim when Mr. Ewell attacks them at night, and often leaves them presents including carved soap of the two children.

“ ‘Here,” he said, offering Dill his paper sack with straws in it. “Take a good sip, it’ll quieten you”

Dill sucked on the straws, smiled, and pulled at length.

“Hee hee,” said Mr. Raymond, evidently taking delight in corrupting a child.

“Dill, you watch out, now,” I warned.

Dill released the straws and grinned. “Scout, it’s nothing but Coca-Cola”

wonder why he was found out?
the guy was stoopid and he plagarized my dads OWN work!
but even if its not ur professors work, people still find out for ex. ANOTHER of my dads students plagarized and then a month or so later the writer of the thesis told my dad it was his work and the student was in twoubble! ha ha....

happy pesach! we had farfel fo breakfast! yummmm... my mom makes the BEST! isnt weird how nonjewish people always LUV matza but jewish people hate it? like at my schoool, everyone will trade ANYTRHING for matza and i wiuld do anything to get rid of it. it tastes llike cardboardd how can they LIKE it?? i guess when u r jewish you HAVE to eat it..... thats probly it. i'd trade it for a pb&j anyday tho...

i luv silver carp! they weigh 70 pounds and can jump 15-feet!!!!
also did u hear the thing this polygamist sect married girls at 14 years old! and wouldnt let them out! its so horrible! and then idiots are like "we have religfious freeedom" but the poor women and children are beaten! its terrible!!!!

lost in th forest

ok, so we lost rocket in the forest so my mom goes looking for him. 15 min. later Rocket comes running back to us, so we call for my mom but she doesnt come. so we dont have the leash my mom does. so my dad holds rockets collar for 2.5 miles back to the car. and we wait for her, and she forgot to bring her cellphone. so we wait for an hour and a half for my mom to come running back. she had run for 5 miles all around the forest looking for Rocket. by that time it was 6 o-clock and i had to go to a party that started at 5.
the good thing is that yesterday was beautiful! it was so warm i didnt need a coat or jumper!! now i have hebrew school. bye1!!
